Born in 1987 in Trabzon, Dr Emrah Dilaver graduated from Marmara University Faculty of Dentistry. He successfully completed his speciality training in Oral, Dental and Maxillofacial Surgery at Medipol University in 2016. His speciality thesis was on "The Effectiveness of Isolated V-Y Plasty in Lip Lengthening and Reducing Gingival Visibility".

Dr. Dilaver, who specialises in orthognathic surgery, works especially on the correction of jaw deformities, facial asymmetry, skeletal anomalies such as mandibular retrognathia and prognathism. He offers personalised treatment solutions to his patients with virtual planning and three-dimensional modelling techniques using modern technologies in surgical planning.

Dr Dilaver, who aims to achieve the best results both functionally and aesthetically, has conducted research on lip aesthetics and smile dynamics after orthognathic surgery and these studies have been published in international journals.
