Dr Can Arslan graduated from Yeditepe University Faculty of Dentistry in 2014 and completed his doctorate in Orthodontics at Ankara University in 2019. He specialises in orthodontics, especially in orthognathic surgery and treatment of skeletal malocclusions.
Dr Arslan has many articles published in national and international refereed journals.
Dr. Arslan has presented papers in scientific organisations in Turkey and around the world and is a member of professional organisations such as Turkish Orthodontic Association, Turkish Dental Association and European Orthodontic Society. In 2018, at the 16th International Congress of the Turkish Orthodontic Society held in Izmir, Izmir, he won the second prize in poster presentation with his research titled "Dimensional and Spatial Investigation of the Effect of Treatment of Skeletal Class III Malocclusion with Bimaxillary Orthognathic Surgery on the Pharyngeal Airway".
His work focuses on orthodontic treatment methods, orthognathic surgery and maxillofacial surgery planning techniques and he has contributed to many scientific publications in his field. Dr Arslan, who examines the relationship between orthodontic treatment and orthognathic surgery in depth, adopts a multidisciplinary approach to ensure that patients achieve the best results both functionally and aesthetically.
Biography
Dr Can Arslan graduated from Yeditepe University Faculty of Dentistry and completed his doctorate in Orthodontics at Ankara University. He has done various studies on orthognathic surgery, focusing especially on diagnosis and treatment planning in this field. Dr Arslan continues his academic life at Yeditepe Faculty of Dentistry.
